About
Healing is not something we achieve. It is something we remember.
I believe each of us carries an innate movement toward wholeness, even when life has left us feeling disconnected from ourselves. My work is about creating the conditions for that movement to unfold by restoring inner balance, settling the fluctuations of the mind and body, and returning to a grounded presence.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Yoga Therapist, I offer psychotherapy, yoga therapy, and integrative sessions that explore the dynamic relationship between psyche and soma. I also lead workshops, professional trainings, and retreats, independently and in collaboration with my husband, Jungian Analyst Tony Caldwell.
I am continually drawn to the wisdom of the lived body. Long before we can explain an experience, the body has already begun telling its story. Through breath, awareness, gentle movement, and somatic inquiry, we learn to listen differently. Sensations become meaningful. Emotions become less overwhelming. What once felt disconnected begins to find its place within a larger sense of self.
This work is an invitation to slow down and cultivate a more intimate relationship with your experience. Rather than pushing difficult feelings away or trying to fix them, we become curious about what they are asking of us. Over time, many people discover a deeper sense of embodied presence along with the capacity to stay with life's intensity without losing themselves in it.
My approach is informed by contemplative psychotherapy, yoga therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and the philosophical traditions of yoga. These perspectives share a common understanding that healing is less about becoming someone new than remembering what has always been present beneath our adaptations, protective strategies, and old narratives.
Depending on your intentions, our work may include conversation, meditation, breath centered practices, embodied awareness, or reflective inquiry. Every practice serves the same purpose, helping you establish greater steadiness and ease while creating more coherence between body, psyche, and spirit. From this place, change tends to arise naturally rather than through force.
Again and again, I find myself returning to one simple truth. The body is not separate from healing. It is the place where healing is experienced.
My hope is that our work together supports you in living with greater presence, resilience, and authenticity. As you reconnect with the wisdom and intelligence of your own body, it becomes possible to meet yourself with compassion, engage life more fully, and move forward with a deeper sense of meaning and belonging.
